Thought About Recycling To Clean Up Congress?

Tuesday, August 17th, 2010

The United States is late getting on the Go Green bandwagon. Most European countries are committed to cleaning up the environment. In the U.S., we have too much politics. Americans create too much waste. We bought into the disposable mindset…Just throw it away. We need to recycle more. Businesses which recycle usually save money and have more efficient operations. Waste management is good business.

In the election 2008, Americans voted for change. I’m not sure how effective the current US Congress has been…You be the judge. How about electing all new faces in the United States government, at least the legislative branch. Forget the campaign promises. Whether Republicans or Democrats, why not recycle our senators and representatives.

Let’s clean up the politics.

Go Green with Congress.

Recycle!

A little political humor below…

The Green Plan

GOAL FOR 2010
A great idea for 2010!!!!
Let’s make it happen!
Finally, a Green Plan we can all get behind.
terms;

one in office, one in federal prison.
Recycle Congress, a Green Plan

Now where to put them. Do you know of a suitable recycling center?

Are There Feasible Oil Spill Cleanup Solutions?

Friday, June 18th, 2010

BP’s Gulf of Mexico oil spill is still in the news and will continue to be because the oil continues to flow into the gulf. In the aftermath of the oil spill disaster and the aftermath of grilling of BP executives by the US Congress and President Obama, what’s the really important question?

How to clean up the oil spill?

People from universities and private companies and even Hollywood have submitted solutions. I’ve heard criticisms about BP not responding to suggestions very quickly. It takes a lot of time. Rational people would have to know that BP and the rest of the oil industry would like the spill to be cleaned up yesterday. The environmentalists want the oil cleaned up. Everyone in the gulf region would like an oil spill cleanup solution. And seafood lovers want to avoid the escalating prices that the oil spill will cause. The cost is high in terms of finances, the economy and in terms of quality of life.

Hey Hay – Is There a Simple Way to Clean Up BP’s Oil Spill?”   about one proposal for soaking up the oil.
